Purple Ninjas used to be a "medium team," but now we're "small" again

Forgot to mention tha "I Have No Voice" is based loosely on the third series (as a first draft, it's not bad, and I suppose part of the reason it was hard to write is I'm not quite done with the part)

The next story, "TheCobra's Revenge," is also inspired partly by a portion of drama:
===
1
The 11-year-old grinned hugely as the raw Power connected with the soft, yielding flesh, and a geyser of blood shot in all directions, accompanied by his father’s agonized cries. “I’ve been waiting for years to do this.” Waryn paused, searching his victim’s face before continuing. “You’re so much weaker than the last time I saw you.”
The 13-year-old clenched his teeth, his blue eyes glazed with pain. ‘I can’t take much more,’ he thought as the malevolent energy slammed into him again and again—and with every chunk of skin the magic tore from him, the demonic being that called himself The Cobra laughed uproariously.

“I’m getting bored,” Waryn announced.
‘Thought you’d been planning this for years,’ Ontario thought sarcastically.
The 11-year-old produced a small bottle of greenish-brown liquid and held it close to his father’s face. “Recognize this,” he asked mockingly.
‘Can’t be,’ the 13-year-old thought, his eyes widening in horror. ‘Just one drop and—‘ Desperately, he tried to move out of the way, all the time knowing that even if he had the energy to get out of the way, there was nowhere he could go.
Carefully, Waryn unstoppered the bottle and poured a few drops on his victim’s chest and face. “Farewell, Dad,” he mocked, “it was nice knowing you.”

“Qiryntian Acid’s one of the fastest-working solutions known,” murmured a woman’s voice, her expression tight.
“There must be something—“ muttered the young man beside her.
“Nothing short of a miracle,” she replied.

As soon as I type up "The Invisible Man," I'll post that-again, it's based in part (more than some) on the tape series

Complication: I found writing to be extremely difficult, so the sections of "The Invisible Man" are little more than fragments (I seem to have been here before)

Not as much is based on the tape now as when I began writing it
Now, it's a combination of the drama, the unwritten stories in my head, and various pieces of literature

Silvia Hawthorne flopped back next to the young man lying beside her, herbreathing ragged. “Where’d you go,” she pouted, her hands falling limply to her sides , and gazing into his vacant expression. Then, almost involuntarily, she added, “Why do you dislike my caresses?”

The 13-year-old focused on keeping his breathing steady and his mind closed to all intrusion. He knew he couldn’t escape his enemies for long this way, but was hopeful it would give him enough time to recover his strength.

“You’re the only one who can overpower her,” the 11-year-old murmured softly, his expression intent.
Ontario squeezed his eyes closed, as if the action could prevent the words from penetrating his mind.

“He has more Power of his own than he realizes—and more than the Enemy will find out,” the 11-year-old murmured to his companions.
“How do you know, Bheniyto,” Maria asked.
“Trust me.”

The young man sighed miserably. ‘I have no choice,’ he thought wearily.
“Of course you’ve a choice,” the Fairy Lord replied quietly, “but the deciding factor is which option is more bearable for you.”
‘How about neither?’
“Refusing to confront your problems doesn’t make them go away, and in the fight against us we still win.”
‘I have no energy of my own, and accepting yours is to leave me at your mercy afterward.’
“It’s up to you, but remember that time is limited.”

“You’re so much more handsome than the last time I saw you,” Silvia cooed softly. “Oh, I know I should wait for you to wake up, but I really can’t resist—. But sooner than expected, she had to stop again, so worn out was she. “I’ll just—“ she began, laying back with a contented sigh.
“That’s right, lie down and die,” boomed a disembodied voice.
“Who said that,” she asked nervously, looking around but seeing no one.
“The invisible man.”
“There’s no such person as invisible—“ And then she was clawing at her throat, her eyes wide with terror as she fought for her life.
“I’m not the same boy I was eleven years ago,” a voice hissed in her ear, “which means you picked the wrong person to give you a child!” So saying, Ontario’s hands clamped tighter around her throat, and his murderous expression found her frightened one. “I’m mad enough, and desperate enough, that I’ll afford you a mercy you don’t deserve.” Her lips parted, as if to say something, and he threw an object contemptuously inside her mouth. Then, as her jaws closed, an electric current surged from his fingertips through her, and her body stiffened. “Good-bye, Silvia,” the 13-year-old exclaimed as he shifted his position in order to put more of his weight into his hands.

Lines from the drama:
- “I Have No Voice, and I Have to Scream”
“Qasa’Triyu means that, no matter how much suffering you endure, you can’t be knocked unconscious. Indeed, you’ll remain
with it till the very end, when there’s next to nothing left of your pathetic life.” – Qydrazimor “Qydra” Assah Voliyno (the difference is that, on the tape, he doesn’t say these exact words-in fact, he doesn’t even say the whole bit at one time)
“I rather think I’ll enjoy this round the most.” – Qydra (on the tape, he divides the “surgical procedures” into four “operations:” the one in which this line is spoken is “round three,” the beginning before he does anything; the difference on the tape is that he does cut off the intended body parts)
“What’s your hurry?” (The difference is that, instead of a booming voice, Ontario himself asks the question—prior to “operating”. Also, the line about the Fairy Lord “garnering special enjoyment” is uttered by the 13-year-old before “surgery”.
- “The Cobra’s Revenge”
“I’ve been waiting for years to do this.” – Waryn Gonzales (only, in the drama, the line is “I’ve been waiting for years for this day.”
“You’re so much weaker
than the last time I saw you.” – Waryn
In parts three and four, the part with the acid (in the drama) isn’t Waryn, but Qydra—and the victim isn’t Ontario, but Alonso
- “The Invisible Man”
“Where’d you go?” – Silvia Hawthorne (the only difference here is that the demon, who turns out to be an evil fairy, isn’t tired yet)
“You’re the only one who can overpower her,” – Qydra speaking to Ontario regarding his mother, Silvia (the difference during this scene is that the young man does indeed accept his cousin’s help in defeating this “Fairy Empress”
“You’re so much more handsome than the last time I saw you.” – Silvia
“That’s right, lie down and die.” – Voice (in this scene, the difference in the drama is that Qydra is involved—and Silvia doesn’t die—because Ontario’s still too weak to carry through with his part of the plan, except maybe to render her unconscious, which later lands him in trouble with Qydra)
The remaining lines from that part, starting with “Who Said That?” and ending with “there’s no such person as invisible—“ are from the one game Elysha and I played (although “person” was “thing”)

Wrote up "Village Streets" draft 6 just now, and added some:

Orelio Ordevahran looked up in alarm at the sound of his aunt’s soft tread. “Just came to say good night,” she said quietly, bending over to kiss him on the forehead. He clung to her, his blue eyes wide with terror. “What is it,” she asked, her brow furrowed in concern. He shook his head, unable to express what was troubling him. “Whatever it is, I’m sure it’ll have blown over by morning.” He nodded doubtfully, then closed his eyes tiredly. “If you need anything, I’ll be right across the hall.” And with those words, she exited her nephew’s chamber, closing the door softly behind her. “Sleep while you can,” she muttered, “for the trouble you sense will be here sooner than you think.”

Sorvania Orseveyno stood stock-still in the middle of her bedroom, her eyes taking in the furnishings. ‘They say dreams can help us,’ she thought, ‘if only we pay attention.’ So what did her latest vision reveal? “I saw a flash of orange, as if something were on fire,” she muttered, wracking her brain for additional details. “Then there was silence for a time, then a muffled conversation, something about the palace—“ She broke off, her eyes widening in horror. “That’s it,” she cried, “somebody’s going to—“ Again, she broke off, as an unpleasant odor touched her nose. “Oh no,” she muttered, then dashed over to the corner of the room farthest from the door.
