“I don’t know why, but I’m extra tired.” This Mom said to me as we conversed tjis evening over the phone.
Before we hung up I yawned and she asked me if I was going to make it. “What kind of question is that?”
Then she yawned, and I asked if she was going to make it: “I don’t know. That’s just it.” After suggesting she take a nap, we hung up.

Qasa'Triyu
It’s one of the cruelest spells the Universe has ever known: “Not even Veytasra can compare to the destructive power of Qa’Setriyu. ‘Both are similar in that, prior to death, the victim suffers unimaginable physical and mental anguish that would have crushed anyone else. The sacrifice
“It makes no sense.” ‘Nor does anything else in this nightmare.’
“It’s called ‘worst case scenarios.”’
“Guys… Qydra may have been destroyed, but there’s still aan Evil Power out there. So we don’t have a name for it; doesn[‘t mean it’s not there.”
The name of the spell that banishes the evil Fairy Lord for all eternity is “Qavreysa Qa’Setriyu,” or at least half of it is. “The rest of the spell has to be nonverbal.”
It’s the moment when even Ontario’s hope seems to waver. “Oh no—Alonso, I’d ask a favor of you.” The ultimate test, the ultimate sacrifice—but did it really have to end that way?
Then again, is tape twelve side b really over?

Clean
The apartment’s clean again. While she was helping me, Mom and I watched “Sixty Minutes.” And she assembled my new silver walker, as I’d fallen on and bent the red one. “Did you hurt yourself,” she asked—to which I replied that, yes, I hurt my back, but that it felt better.

Dinner
Mom and I made plans to meet for dinner before doing the wash. So imagine my surprise when Uncle Michael showecd up with her. I don’t know what he got other than eggplant fries, but he shared some with me—I remember the time he offered me calamari, but I declined and then was upset with myself later for not having tried it. “Not bad,” I commented. ‘It’s weird because I’m pretty sure I don’t like eggplant.’
I got a breaded, fried chicken sub, and noticed right away something wasn’t right with the bread. I normally like their bread—it’s the homemade kind—but not that night!

Ultimate sacrifice
“I can’t finish it… up to you.”
Last night I redid the scene on tape twelve with the sacrifice. This time, Ontario’s in too much pain to finish the spell—so he calls on his twin for assistance. But Alonso seems utterly incapable of doing any such thing. ‘Until the last second, when his brother’s already losing consciousness.’ And the magical energy that flows from him is so powerful, he’s instantaneously knocked out cold beside his sibling.

Lunch
I treated Grandma and myself to Macdonald’s, as it’s right in the same complex where Holiday is. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. Between the two of us, the price was $13 or $14.
As we were coming up in the elevator, this gentleman got on at the second floor and walked to the back upon learning we were for five. “Smells good,” he commented as we got out, “bring extras?” “Dream on,” I shot back, and he laughed.

Mom’s been telling me for some time I need to increase the bike because I’m gaining weight. But I didn’t realize just how much until I had to loosen the Fanny Pack—as opposed to March or April, when I had to tighten it. ‘Any more, and I won’t be able to wear it at all.’ And speaking of which, where’s the other Fanny Pack—the one for fall/winter?

I got my hair cut—or, as someone once got mad when I said “cut,” “hair trim.” The woman who did it was Renee, who has an identical twin named Becky who also works at Holiday. And Becky’s the one who, last week, did Grandma’s perm.

1. A clock—a desktop model like the one I have in the living room,
2. A watch—one that has a stopwatch, calendar and four appointment settings,
3. A walker—costs $39.99 and comes with a one year warranty.

Village Streets
O kust redid the notes on both sections of “Village Streets:”
- When Koreyna Morehnta tucks in one of her twin nephews, he seems to have some sense that trouble is afoot. But is it possible, or realistic, given his age for him to grasp the severity of the situation? [5-year-old Alonso Gonzales, currently residing in Vahrsonyetran Palace with his aunts Kora and Vania]
- Sorvania Orseveyno wakes up two nights in a row shaking and trembling in the grip of a nightmare that quickly evaporates come morning. The only aspect which doesn’t elude her is a pervading sense of terror. But will that dread be enough to enable her to remember, or somehow grab hold of the significance of her premonition, before it is too late? [Involves a fire which is most definetly arson]

Alternate Dimension
I forget what tape it’s on, but there’s another scene in the alternate dimension. It’s the one in which the twins’ spirits are “segmented” or “fragmented.” “Fragmented” here means being split into more than two pieces.
