Yes, I wonder why things have changed so much. My team used to chat a lot and I really enjoyed hearing from my team mates. Nobody posts anymore just me and another very nice lady. I miss it.

Hi Quizzygirl, I love to sing too. I sang in choirs in high school and college but only sing Karaoke once in a while now. Unfortunately there are only two places here that have Karaoke and neither one of them are good. Oh well. Keep on singing, there are far too few good singers around these days Steve

Anyone looking for chatters? Me too! My team, THE LIGHTHEARTED, wants people to join our team to play and chat. It does get a little frustrating when people join a team and remain silent. I always thought the word team meant a group that communicates with each other.

Seems to be a common problem on most teams at the moment ,hardly anyone posts most days . dont know why as we have tried to get other team members to join in but no luck .

Maybe some of the lack of chatting is because there are numerous venues for chatting around the internet... even eBay has chat groups. But, there are no places remotely like FT for trivia, so many people come here just for the competition.

FT is the first chat boards I ever joined. I don't text or twitter or facebook. I am not old :) just old fashioned. I just think having some fun chats amongst team mates should not be so difficult. Nothing uncomfortable or overly personal...just lighthearted and fun.

Well hmmmm... my team, Tesla Coil, is extremely chatty! You name it, and we probably have a thread about it. From food to weather to dailies and hourlies and all team-related quizzes, to fun game threads we've created, to things that make us go "What The Heck?" to sports to books to movies to explaining any new challenges in case anyone is having a hard time figuring out how to get started, to posting about new badges and minis to, to congratulating each other on accomplishments like winning badges or expert wins to cheering on our teammates in Knockout every week to... Snakes On A Plane. So far, I'm the only one posting in that thread, since I created it, but when I find some spare time, I'll be telling some snake stories of my very own, and I'm sure others will join me! I have to tell my snake stores as a catharsis since I have so many, and snakes just creep me out!
We're a close-knit team, and so posting on our MB is fun and also vital for us so we can keep in touch with our players from alllll over the globe!
I wouldn't want to play on a team that wasn't actively chatting and posting. It just wouldn't feel like we were really a team, playing for the betterment of not just ourselves, but also our team.
Maybe a solution for nonactive teammates would be to start a few fun threads people could respond to? Just a suggestion.
