I think (and this is just my opinion lol) that if you look for the specific quote it's particularly bad form. Mind you, I have a feeling that that sort of search wouldn't be very fruitful in alot of the cases here anyway LOL), but personally I don't see anything wrong with:
a) being able to recognise (on your own) WHO the actors are and then looking at a list of movies they were in and then trying to guess which one it might be from based on the words or sounds.
Or b) if, let's say the "set" is all movies from 1982, looking at a list of movies from that year and then pound your brain and try to see if the sound clip rings a bell with any of them. Most of the time if you haven't seen the movie or heard/read about the movie, or haven't seen trailers or reviews, you're probably not going to get them, list or no list lol.

OK - 33.4 I think is "Role Models". That Jane Lynch is brilliant - I really think she should be given a big TV show some day.

LOL, because of that tumbleweed remark I now have a harmonica soundtrack sitting in my ear!
So, I'd say 34.7. is Wonder Boys with Michael Douglas, then the connection to The Savages would be Philip Bosco?

Wow, 34.2. is the pivotal scene of "Sophie's Choice" with Meryl Streep not only displaying her acting skills, but also her talent for languages. Apart from some minor irregularities, she really manages to speak great German with a slight Polish accent ... amazing! This classy lady of course is also the connection to "Doubt".

Aussiedrongo: sorry, I meant to reply to your earlier message, but I'd lose my head if it wasn't sewed on lol. I haven't seen "Valiant", but I'd like to. I actually love "kid's movies" - always have. When I was a young adult, I used to offer to take my little cousins to the movies. Everyone thought that was sooooo nice of me, but the real truth was that I wanted to see them myself, so there was nothing unselfish about it LOL. I wanted to see "Tangled" when it came out too, but hubby just rolled his eyes as he usually does (can't say I blame him really lol), so I guess I'll just have to go buy the thing one of these days.
Tag: Glad to see you back, but why wait til Monday? As far as I can tell there are still SEVEN clips left to solve right now! (all of the 34.x series except for 34.4 and 34.7 which Picard has been successful on).
