All right, let's see if this works.

Every Monday, I'll post nine audio clips from various movies. All you have to do is identify the movie. At the end of each week, I'll post the answers along with the corresponding video clips.

If you've posted an answer, please either wait for someone else to answer another one OR twenty-four hours after your last answer before you answer another one.

Easy clips (1-3) are worth 1 point, medium clips (4-6) are worth 2 points, and difficult clips (7-9) are worth 3 points.

NOTE: I have been told these files don't work with Internet Explorer 8, but they work fine with any other browser (Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)



Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Okay, I think I've discovered the reason for the problem some people were having a couple weeks ago. On some of my YouTube videos, I get a message saying "Video was blocked in some countries". Judging from the comments I got from some people, I'm betting that "some" equates to "all" in this case. Fortunately, these cases don't occur very often, so what I will do in the meantime is post both the YouTube link AND the 4shared link (that is, a link to a video player just like YouTube, except not YouTube), and that will hopefully solve any problems people are experiencing with watching them.

For instance, here's that Titanic clip:

Remember last week when I said I would have something new this week? Well, here it is: themes! Every week, the nine new clips will have a theme to them (sort of a "common bond", if you will). Sometimes I'll tell you offhand what the theme is; sometimes I won't. If I don't tell you straightaway, then it's a mystery theme, and you can get 2 BONUS POINTS by guessing what the theme is. Here's the best part: you don't have to wait to guess the theme. If you've already guessed twice in one day, or if you haven't waited for someone else to guess first, that's OK! You can guess the theme whenever you want!

Oh, yeah, and this week's theme is a mystery theme. Have fun!

I've only listened to a few, and they do have something in common thus far...

They all have numbers in the title. ;)


Which, if that's the correct theme, should make the remaining clips MUCH easier.
