All right, let's see if this works.

Every Monday, I'll post nine audio clips from various movies. All you have to do is identify the movie. At the end of each week, I'll post the answers along with the corresponding video clips.

If you've posted an answer, please either wait for someone else to answer another one OR twenty-four hours after your last answer before you answer another one.

Easy clips (1-3) are worth 1 point, medium clips (4-6) are worth 2 points, and difficult clips (7-9) are worth 3 points.

NOTE: I have been told these files don't work with Internet Explorer 8, but they work fine with any other browser (Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)



Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

At first, I was sure it was a WWII movie because it sounded like marching and then a cannon at the end. Went through about 15 soundtracks and found nothing close. Then went to Civil War, Revolutionary War, etc. and found nothing still. Guessed Yojimbo because of the 1 gun in the movie.

Finally, I came to westerns but focused on just soundtracks, when it dawned on me it would probably be a duel, so I checked out the best duel scene of all time in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - and whammo, found it.

Forgot sniper movies as well, because when Angel Eyes fell down it sounds like a single-shot rifle starting to reload. Also figured it was an older movie because of the way the shot sounded, so I knew it wasn't Shooter or The Jackal or something like that.

I had thought of a Western Duel, too, but I knew it wasn't "Three Amigos" or "Rango", so I had absolutely no clue. :P

I watched the Three Amigos clip of the duel, and it did not have that music. Then I remembered we already had that movie anyway. ;)

Okay I confess, I thought Oh Help!!! when I saw this week's theme. ;-)

Still I couldn't give the clips a try, because for the first time my Internet Security blocks them as potentially dangerous downloads.
Is anybody else experiencing this or is my Internet Security going bonkers?
