If you don't log out after each download, opening the link won't take you anywhere after the first time.
So, (assuming you've already signed up for an account and confirmed it from your email), here's the steps:
right click on the link in here, choose open in new window
The site should open at the download page for that file.
Click on the blue download box on the left, below the file (it's important you do that first before logging in)
A window will come up in order for you to log in. Do so. The 20-second timer will start, then download the file (I saved them to a folder).
Then LOG OUT. Close the window.
Repeat as necessary.

Sorry, I have no idea. It doesn't present any problem for me, but that's probably because I'm the one who uploaded them in the first place. Does anybody else have any ideas?

Not sure, I use Chrome to access the files (IE never worked), and even when I log out and then try to access the clips it still allows me to log in before listening. Maybe try to just go to 4shared in a different tab, sign in, and then try clicking the links?

tag: did you follow the instructions I posted above?
As for the media player, it kept telling me that the files had some codec that Windows Media Player doesn't recognize, so I used QuickTime instead. That being said, when I look at them in my download directory, some show up with a WMP icon (and actually run in that too) but the others show QT.

I use Chrome, so for me, the files appear directly in my browser; it doesn't use another media player. Maybe that's the solution?
