Subject: The Help.

I'm reading the "The Help" at the moment. It's a good read. Does anyone else think so?

veronikkamarrz I liked the book very much...Nervous about the movie. I always picture the characters as I'm reading, and the movie always shocks me! :)

It was all right - I enjoyed it, but it was very much written from a white perspective.

Actually I got half way through the book and gave it away. It jumped around too much and I found it hard to follow.

I'm reading it right now. I saw the movie the week it came out and really enjoyed it. My mother had read the book which is why we saw the movie. She bought the book for me for Christmas this past year. It's pretty good so far I think. I'm enjoying it. I've read books before that switch characters with every chapter and I like the format.
