I had hazelnut coffee too! With a blueberry muffin and cereal bar, a piece of dark chocolate.

Weird tasting lasagna, a brownie, and a diet coke. Oh, and a handful of nuts.

lunch today consisted of a bowl of 'doctored up' chunky sirloin burger soup, a few club crackers and a glass of milk.......and oh yeah, the last slice of lemon/poppyseed bread. Good old comfort food!

It's not code - I squeezed the lemon quarter, and pips flew all over the plate. :(

Flying pips, I get it! :)

Good! It might have been code for some new miracle food, but it was really just code for a minor mishap.
I had a treat last week. Meeting a friend for lunch, didn't know where we were going to eat. Parked in my usual spot near a pub and realised that the name had changed. It had stopped being a pub and become an Indian restaurant. Poppadums and dips, and ten buffet dishes, for £6. I shall be back.

Copied from a dish I had in an Italian chain a few weeks ago.
The restaurant meal was sliced Charlotte potatoes with white linguine and pesto.
My near copy was sliced Charlotte potatoes with wholemeal fusilli and pesto, and a couple of fresh tomatoes thrown in for luck. (It tasted OK but wasn't nearly as filling as the restaurant meal although that might have been because I didn't have a starter today.)
