What are your Christmas treat traditions? Or what new things are you adding to your cookie platter this year?

Family Christmas baking starts tomorrow for my family. We will bake over 30 dozen cookies of various varieties, 18 to 23 pies.

I bake sugar cookies and make fudge and divinity. I have plenty of family and friends to share the goodies with.

We always make Cinnamon Stars and decorated short bread. Love to bake with my daughters.

I have a cookie swap party next week & so I am going to try a new cookie recipe to take. They are cherry white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Hope they taste as good as the recipe pictures look.

honeybee4 I watched Rachel Raye make this 5 minute fudge wreath. Super simple and very Christmasy.

ga_jam831 I always makes several loaves of pumpkin nut bread which is a favorite of my friends every year. I also make both peanut and pecan brittle. I made a new recipe this year, pumpkin-cream cheese pie. Everyone who has sampled this pie has raved about it.

Sounds great ga_jam831. We made Banana nut bread and started making the holiday candies yesterday. Peanut brittle, divinity and various chocolate treats including white and dark chocolate pretzels.

Caseena We used to bake sugar cookies and I would spend hours mixing up frosting colors to decorate them. Now, I make peppermint patties and peanut butter cups. With the leftover chocolate, I pour it into candy bar molds with some bacon to make bacon bars (I'm not kidding, they're delicious!).

Caseena that's a great idea. My sister is disturbed because I make turtle brownies with bacon and think they're great!
