Oh ya. Pink Floyd is one of my top favorites as well. My favorite album though has to be 'Wish You Were Here'. Wonderful stuff. Very personal as far as lyrics go. More so than any other album they produced, including 'The Wall'. My opinion only.

The Tallest Man On Earth. *Puts on hipster glasses* You've probably never heard of him. He's very Bob Dylan-like, and he's a great lyricist as well. This one I'm listening to is called "Love is All", try it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BsZt_3MifU

From one of the few contemporary bands I like it's The Mars Volta with "Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus".

I had to listen to this Korn song after Soundgarden. Unfortunatley I can't give you a link to it. You know where to go though. Korn - 'My Gift To You'
"Locks keep out only the honest." :^)

I LOVE the Toadies. I love Possum Kingdom but if you dig deeper you'll find a ton of other great stuff...Well maybe not a ton, they didn't put out very much but I loved almost all of it. I think this one's my favorite...

Saw them live once at a chili cook-off in D.C. and they were really good.
You'll probably like their entire second album called "Hell Below/Stars Above". Very underrated.
I love Soundgarden too. Their "Down on the Upside" disc is another underrated one. Here's one from that.
