My team has a post where, every once and a while, we pop in and say what song is currently playing on our ipod/mp3/radio/etc. Whatever is on right then, is what you post. :-)

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Here's one for you Daaanieeel. All the way from Oxford, Mississippi. Home of Ole Miss.

"Bass Drum of Death"

I just thought of this song now. Don't know why right now.
Huge memories from 'back in the day' with my fraulein and many complicated feelings when I was in the army.

Kate has such an awesome voice. Getting tears right now. And I don't have a tissue for my nose. :^)

Thanks lesley for the pleasure of listening to that wonderful album again. Since our collective remembrance and discovery of Ms. Winehouse, I've purchased this brilliant album.

Also. Thanks for letting me be so snotty!

Daaanieeel Thanks for the video Boxjaw. Not bad. :) Not what I'd generally listen to, but I enjoyed it.

Daaanieeel Reminds me of this one:

They're pretty amazing live. Haven't seen them live unfortunately, but on YouTube they look pretty good.
BTW, by "not what I'd generally listen to" I meant I do listen to some stuff like that (especially Arcade Fire!), but I generally listen to some less heavy music.

Daaanieeel And even the bands who do make heavy music make ones which are quiter as well...

Daaanieeel Great song, great cause, great band and some great contributions from other musicians. Really great to have a laugh at.

Make sure you watch all of it. If you don't watch the interview with the kids it'll make no sense. I guess you can skip most of the start, but that's too funny to skip.

A glorious tenor and a nice bit of happy, smiley PR for the USSR.
