My team has a post where, every once and a while, we pop in and say what song is currently playing on our ipod/mp3/radio/etc. Whatever is on right then, is what you post. :-)

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

"Locked Away" was pretty good. I never heard it before now. Richards kind of sounds like an amalgam of Bowie and Knopfler.

Which version of "Cinnamon Girl" do you rock and rollers like best.

Greatguggly I like Entwhistle's version. Is that him singing it? The voice doesn't sound the same as the one in "My Wife". I guess I never have been sure he sings on that one either.

Nice stuff Rick. It's good to see the guys jamming in a different light.

There is an album by Lou Reed that is personally important to me. He released an album in 1992 about the deaths of two close friends to cancer. I remember purchasing this cassette and feeling so akin to what Reed was saying, about a close friend of my own who suffered through the same B******T!

I listen to it often, and here are some tracks from "Magic and Loss".

I just thought about this Rick. Paul Ryan kinda looks like Lou. But Lou is so much more of a good guy.

Greatguggly Bleh on that statement. Glad you liked the Keef stuff, though.

"Tomorrow Never Knows" is probably my favourite Beatles song, along with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

Listening to "Transatlanticism" (I think that's right!) by Death Cab for Cutie (the song, not the album). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNqQC7R_Me4

I noticed that weissmarc had been stuck with "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy on What Song is stuck in your head? thread.

I've always loved Thin Lizzy. Very underrated band. This song is a sad testament to Phil Lynott's life.

Good tune there houston.

Greatguggly La Grange is my favorite but I've always loved this one too. Billy Gibbons always get left off great guitarist lists. Not mine.
