Welcome to Commission XXI!

Phew-- after a long race we're back! A twenty-first Commission. Let's go back to basics.

There is no theme this time. For this Commission, all you need to do is send a title, three words long, nothing fancy.
Upon receiving their titles, authors will need to choose whether or not they want to add a word or change a word. They may change any punctuation they wish to make it work. The original title can not be used.

As always, you may only sign up if you already have a couple quizzes already online. If it's your first time, please don't hesitate to ask questions. The submitted titles should be sent directly sent to me via PM.

All participants must have their titles sent in (to me) by the Thursday night FST (March 8). As soon as we fall into the Friday at midnight, titles will be handed out.

Let's get back into the swing of things! :)

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

zorba_scank Halfway through mine. Should be in the queue by the weekend.

The title, originally 'Live or Die', came from Mariamir.

Creedy's title came from Christinap; it was originally 'Shy and Retiring'. Further proof that a single word can alter a meaning. :)

Thank you, Kyle (and Christi) :)

I am halfway through mine as well, but I'm not as speedy as zorba. Will aim to submit this weekend, but sometime next week is more likely.

I think the original titles for this commission could produce some interesting quizzes. Kyle, what are the odds of having a do-over commission, where we throw the original titles into the randomizer, and see what happens? :-)

That seems like a possibility. Maybe we can take a look at them when all is said and done. :)

Daaanieeel I've made much more headway with my other quizzes! It isn't that my title was hard, I'm just having a hard time coming up with a good idea for it. I've changed around the title at least three times now, still not happy with it.

Mine's nearly done. Just have a couple of questions to finish off before proofreading and submitting.

There it is-- the title is from Malik24 and it was originally 'History Repeats Itself'.

That's just over one third of titles online now and each quizmaker has opted to change a word in the original title. I'm bucking the trend with mine and adding a word.

I've had an astonishing number of compliments with mine. Way at the top end of the normal curve. I think I need a secretary.

You just never know what'll appeal to players. What they seem to like best is personal snippets about the lives of individiduals, rather than their great deeds.

(Or maybe that's just because I do)

"ou just never know what'll appeal to players. What they seem to like best is personal snippets about the lives of individuals, rather than their great deeds."

That's probably at least in part because the great deeds are well known, the personal snippets less so. Your quiz had amazing amounts of both, so there was something for everyone!

Thanks for a nice, easy title Malik. I could have taken that pretty much anywhere, but Music is the usual default for me.

Highfells' quiz is up-- the title was from Wes and it was originally 'Sun and Shade'.

zorba_scank I don't know what I would've done with the original title, but the 'change a word' rule gave me a whole lot of options. :)
