As I read it - and perhaps I have the wrong end of the stick - the letter refers to the common theme of the quiz, and not the category.
So your S-themed quiz does not necessarily need to be a Sports quiz.

-Sounds good-- we should have room for six quizzes doubling up in categories. Make sure, however, that Creedy (who is also submitting to Sports) isn't writing a quiz in the same subcategory, otherwise it won't count. For example, if she's writing about Football Players Beginning with S, you can't take a football angle with A.
