So, what was your time Kyle? Just curious.

I am horrible at math, but 17h10? I think?
I made the wonderful mistake of clicking my timer on from the get-go and then going out for the night. Ah well. :p

I did notice that Kyle set the bar pretty high with that first quiz. Well done!

Nice first quizzes!
Just wondering though, isn't it early for the synopsis thread, since the clues are mentioned in there as well and sprinters can look in there to see what the clue is, without officially starting the timer?

I've just noticed that some queue sizes are quite long, music for example is quoted at 6 to 32 days. What happens if the second clue is issued but you can't do it within the five day time limit because the previous quiz is still stuck in a queue?

We have been waiting ever so impatiently while ours is stuck in the queue. 35 hours so far, not that anyone's counting.

Yes I'm vaguely concerned about the queue sizes too, Kyle and Wes. If the quizzes are graded from when they go online, that would disadvantage various players who may have submitted them days previously.
Obviously if we were wise, we'd write them in the shorter queue lines, but then that removes a chunk of choice, and would take away the fun, enjoyment and creativity in writing to a degree.
It'd be like eating spinach instead of ice-cream.
But then that'd be part of the challenge I guess - weighing up the challenge against the enjoyment.
Oh just ignore me! I always get into arguments with myself over everything.

I'm pretty sure the timer only counts the time between seeing the clue and submitting the quiz. Once it's in the queue, the timer stops, and only starts up again if it gets rejected for corrections.

No, my mistake. The timer doesn't start up again. Only penalties for excessive rejections. Carry on, cadets.

I understand the timer issue, but since I am one of those people that can only submit one quiz at a time. If one quiz is in the queue very long, I won't be able to submit another. Is there a rule for that? Not that I am terribly worried. I am sure the editors will get to it in time. Just wondering about that.

Can anyone submit more than one quiz at a time? I was under the impression that everyone had a 1 quiz limit.

If the editors recognise you as a proficient and consistently good author, they may grant you the ability to submit multiple quizzes at once and to have a higher number of quiz templates on the go simultaneously. :)

I FINALLY got my internet back so am going to put the kettle on, make sarnies, get comfy and go look at the clues... I could have cried when we got back from our holiday to find the net had been down for three days, and then it took until the morning for the fault to be found and fixed :-( Anyway, am here now :-D
