My PIE quiz will be going to Mixed Literature - Animal Themes so I'm posting a question here which I'm hoping looney_tunes might answer for me. Are bible related questions accepted in the Literature category or is it preferable that they are confined to Religion? I have eleven possible questions for this quiz so leaving out a bible story question is not going to cause me any problems if that is preferred, it will make my decision of which question to omit much easier.

Bible questions can certainly be included in Mixed Literature quizzes. We would expect a quiz entirely based on the Bible to go to Religion, unless possibly it were written as an analysis of literary styles rather than content.

Thanks l_t, I appreciate your prompt response and am pleased with its contents. I wanted to keep the bible question in to give a real eclectic mix of questions. Now, which one do I sacrifice?

I've got an idea for a quiz called Let Them Eat Cake, about quotes from famous people that never were (like the aforementioned Marie Antoinette quote) - should it go in Celebrities, people or History?

I don't edit in those categories, but my feeling is People, where you will find a subcategory called Quotes. If the quotes all came from people in 'the entertainment industry', you could use the Quotes subcategory found in Celebrities (Mixture).
Here is the blurb from the Celebrities category to help you decide between the various places you might consider:
Quizzes about musicians and singers are located in Music, athletes and other sports personalities are located in their appropriate sub-category over in Sports, DJs and other radio personalities, plus pro wrestlers, are located in their appropriate sub-category over in Entertainment, and quizzes about scientists, writers, royalty, and other famous men and women (mind you, they're also celebrities in their own right) are located in People. All other people in the "entertainment industry" are found in here e.g. actors, actresses, director, writers, producers, managers, voice actors, comedians, tv personalities, hosts, emcees, etc.
And here's the one from People:
Quizzes on sports figures are located in the Sports category, quizzes on musicians & singers are located in the Music category, quizzes on religious figures are located in the Religion category and quizzes on movie stars, comedians, tv personalities and other entertainers are located in the Celebrities category.
If you are using a mixture that includes some historical figures and some celebrities, it should still fit in People. If it is mostly celebrities, then you should probably try and make it all celebrities, and send it there.

It's going to include Winston Churchill, Voltaire and Queen Victoria, so People it is. Thanks!

Can I write another one here, or is it only one per person?

Kyle usually includes restrictions such as one per person in the heading of the challenge, so I would assume you can contribute multiple times.

Working on the quiz at the moment. Btw I know we're not supposed to copy from websites, but what about if it's a quotes quiz? Is it OK then? Also, I did have to do quite a bit of research, and I've included all my sources in the interesting information boxes. I tried to put everything in my own words.

Including quotes is fine, as long as you make it clear that it is a quote, and show the source as precisely as you can. Especially for verbal statements, there are often slight variants reported.

There's now a meat quiz in the Humanities queue. I hope this dino isn't an herbivore.

I would like to do a quiz on arepas! I am going to try to fit it into the geography category and talk about the different places that make arepas or corncakes... Will that fly for this Challenge?
