Hello to all sprinters,

this thread will be used for the "W" clue set for the FunTrivia sprint. Each of the clues will be posted at some time during the release date (as early as possible) and then a post will be made in the game's main thread to inform you about the new clue.

IMPORTANT: Once each new clue has been posted, clicking on this thread WILL start your timer for the round. Thus, once the game starts, do not come here until you are ready to start writing for the week! (If in doubt, check the main thread first to see if the clue has already been released.)

POSTING RULES: Since this is the best, "safe" place to do so, you can ask any questions you may have about the clues here; thus, the thread will not be closed. However, please make sure you only post questions pertaining to the currently active clue - any discussions on past clues or general aspects of writing for the Sprint that do not spoil the clue for those who have not seen it yet should go in the game's main thread. Please do not send clue clarification questions by PM - any clarification request should be made in the open and the answer will benefit all players.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

My "Australian Back-Out" quiz(Leg 1, Task 3 challenge) has now been submitted to Geography. Under two days is definitely a 'sprint' for me, albeit a dawdle for some of you ;-)

My first attempt has failed, as the quiz has been moved to a sub category that doesn't match the clue.

Can you confirm the rules again, Wes. Am I right that I can write and submit a new quiz with a two revisions penalty? Also, that the correction I had on the first quiz won't count because the quiz didn't meet the clue requirements?

I will take Leg 1, Clue 3 Arctic.

I would do the VG quiz for Leg 5, Clue 1, but I have already started such a quiz for the Geography part of the Lounge Goes Back to School challenge! So, it's the Arctic for me...after all, my husband does call me Polar Bear :)

rossian, correct interpretation. You will start the new quiz with the first quiz's time and two Rvsn regardless of how many the original had. Any Rvsn on the new one however will count on top of the two.
