D'oh, back of the class for me! I am always critical when my students don't read my exam questions carefully enough, and now I've done the same thing with Kyle's task 9... :-( At least I did mark off another category (Animals).
So, for my penance, I'll take Wes' Task 9 and will submit it in Science and Technology

Mike, and you a university lecturer - tsk. That's the sort of thing I do.
Bad luck though :(
Your science quizzes are fascinating anyhow, so I look forward to seeing it.

Lol, Creedy! Guilty as charged. I now feel the pressure to make this Science quiz a good one.... As always, I'm taking too long with the I.I. and am only about half way through.... Hopefully I'll submit it tomorrow and will then await my sanctioned late penalty :-)
At least the Tour de France is now on late at night here (starts about 10.30-11 pm) to keep me company - the rest of the family are way too sensible to stay up.

OK - done, well at least until I hear back from the Editors :-) "Run to the Lab! World Changing Experiments" has been submitted to Science and Technology.
Hopefully I've got a few hours to recover before the next task lands....

Another excellent one.
Poor Mike. Every time he writes a science quiz, I bombard him with questions. It's like having a free tutorial session.
Last time he explained all about how and why hydrogen atoms create helium atoms in the sun - and the resulting explosions etc. I'm now terrified out of my wits of course, but at least I know.

My dad used to collect water samples for a company and he told me about all the tiny widgets that can be seen under a microscope swimming around. I now stick with drinking gin, lol!

I don't know what's worse, Plodd. I met my waterloo with gin one Christmas Eve. Never again. Never, ever, ever again. My mother was so cross with me. I couldn't get out the car because I couldn't figure out where the ground was.

Task 10 – Well Worded
As your tenth task, your quiz must be a Word Play quiz. It may however not be a part of the Brain Teasers category but must rather be in one category-specific subcategory. You thus have nine options: Entertainment, For Children, Geography, Literature, Movies, Music, Sports, Television or Video Games, each in the appropriate Word Play subcategory.
Everything else, including the title, are up to you. However should that title be an author challenge as well, you'll get another of those nice 30 minute bonuses.
Ready? Go!
