I had the same problem - Kyle will probably tell half of us that we've not been using proper zeugmas :P

Agreed Wes. Another player and I exchanged titles... And I think we both have good titles, and so do they. Only time will tell. This is a tough task. :-P

Does the title fall under the criteria? I have been waiting for Kyle to send me a note saying "You are the weekest link...goodbye!" :)

The way I approached it was this...
Take a random verb, like make. Then find two phrases using that verb, But with the verb having a slightly different meaning for each. E.g. Make me! and make a sandwich.
Then combine. Make a sandwich and me.
:-). Hope it helps

Creedy sent me a good question and title so I'll post my response:
A zeugma is a phrase where you yoke together two parts of a sentence. A verb is used to refer to two different things, even if it's not grammatically correct.
'I Reflected Deeply By the Water' would not work because the verb only refers to one thing (reflecting deeply by the water); nothing is yoked together. 'I Reflected Deeply AND By the Water' would be a zeugma because you'd be doing both-- reflecting deeply and reflecting by the water. While the wording is awkward, it's meant to be more striking.
The exemplar title given by Adams627, 'Turning Neither Left Nor White', is a zeugma because you can turn left or you can turn white (or not as the case may be).
Plodd's quiz also works-- 'She Made Her Breakfast and the Bed'. Breakfast is made; the bed is made. You can make a whole bunch of different things, as weird as it sounds in the title. Another 'make/made' title could be 'I Made Amends and Your Coffee' (anyone got a quiz about apologetic baristas?).
Hope this helps. ;)

These zeugma's have still baffled me so I think I'll stick with Maltesers :)

Well, submitted I guess. I have a feeling my title might not fly, but I was slow anyway.
