Thanks very much for your reply. It doesn't seem right that you should be able to do this. I'll have to remember this the next time I put up a bad score.

You can only use the Expert Mulligan once a week, with the week ending on Sunday evening, I believe. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to use it! When I do remember, I almost exclusively use it to try to win an Expert Category I don't already have.
Unfortunately, my repeat scores tend to be invariably worse than the first score I put up so it's not as much as a help as you might think.

Yeah, I think it's a great perk. It adds a little excitement that you can have one mulligan / week. I think I've only gotten 2-3 categories with it, though.

So its not really deleted; just you get one more shot.
I only use it when I come close to winning and think I can get another expert.
I have maybe 4 of these. Most of the time I score waaaay lower.
100 categories is hard!

Further to rockinsteve, you should also use the "change the future" perk as well to choose an expert category of your choice, again once a week, or perhaps you knew that one.
Only thing with that perk is the categories I choose always seem to come up in the middle of the night.

Me too! Or someone changes it again. I guess it adds to the excitement. I'm convinced that the mulligan gives you harder questions.
Still, it's very satisfying when one of these perks pays off, so maybe it's meant to be difficult.

I have never, ever used my mulligan and had a better set, or turned in a better score! However, I can't resist using it, just because it's there. I used to try to "save" it, but that didn't work, either. I guess I love the idea I can give it another go, and I'm roped in every single time. But, I do think it's a fun perk.

I used my mulligan last week when I had challenge to win the Expert game vs. my opponent. I had a very good score in a strong category for me but it wasn't high enough to take the lead. I replayed it about 8 seconds faster the 2nd time & won my challenge for the day, a very worthwhile level perk I must say.
