A lot of it was tongue in cheek and as you all seem to agree it was a hoot. Pity it was deleted, but then we should not criticise because those who are in charge have the last say and after all they are there to see to it that all threads are abiding by the recommended standards.

Since I wasn't informed why it was closed, I can only assume that the Sisterhood was threatened by the sage advice I was promulgating to the unmarried men on this site. Also, when I woke up this morning, there was a horse's head in my bed, and my tires were shashed.

I very much enjoyed Dave's posts which were obviously tongue-in-cheek, well written and extremely funny. Unfortunately, I suspect the thread was closed because a few members starting making nasty jibes at the opposite sex which were clearly not tongue-in-cheek. Some of the posts carried personal insults such as calling other members "old bat" and "hag". Some people even went as far as sending nasty private messages to some of the participants in the thread. Quite honestly, I'm surprised it wasn't shut down sooner. My sympathy is with Dave whose thread has been closed down through no fault of his own. He did ask people to "play nice" but this request was apparently ignored.

Wolverines are okay too, although they're kind of stinky. Terribly nice of you not to suggest a beaver though lol.

What's wrong with beavers? I think they're kind of cute. And moose, for some odd reason, fascinate me. They're so unlikely looking somehow, as if they should really be horses.
