ANOTHER GIFT

Last week, Mom brought me a wallet she bought me at the beach. Today, she gave me her other gift—she forgot to bring it with her last week. It’s a collinder, perfect for when I’m washing grapes—I had put it on my store list, but can now remove it.

The wallet is the one I use for my ID (it has a clasp I can connect to my key, so it's harder to lose)

UNUSUAL SUSPECTS
======
The first show I watched was around 9:30, when Unusual Suspects was half over. The story was that of a serial killer in the Washington area and how police were stymied in their efforts to apprehend him for the longest time. I then saw part of the 10:00 show, but turned it off before it reached its conclusion.

I tried to get into Si-Fi, but couldn’t—and tried to see Fox, but there was a ball game on, and I’ve never been remotely interested in that. So then I turned on Disney, and after Wizards of Waverly Place Watched The Little Vampire—though I eventually lost interest in that as I wanted to see what was on at ten.

PERFECT TIMING

As I sat down at my desk, the buzzer sounded. “He’s here,” I said as I climbed to my feet and rushed to the intercom. “How’s that for perfect timing?”
All the while I was watching that movie, I kept thinking that the Zweier’s Delivery Guy better not come until the movie was over, as it was at a really good part.
