Tonight’s episode was about a father of three who had an uncontrollable rage problem. Melissa cited the example that she and her siblings once found a kitten; they wanted to play with it, but instead their father killed the animal by strangulation. Also, he constantly flirted with women other than Melissa’s Mom—and then told his daughter about them—to the point where it made her physically ill to be around him. ‘But she never in a million years suspected her father of being a ruthless serial killer.’

A SITE THAT DOESN'T WORK

I haven’t clicked on last.fm for months because the last time I did, the computer froze. Now I know why: the site uses adobe acrobat, and “JAWS and PDF don’t mix.” ‘Every time I’m asked to update adobe flash player I exit, because JAWS doesn’t like it. In fact, I need to remember to ask Mom to delete the player from the system.’

Before we hung up I yawned and she asked me if I was going to make it. “What kind of question is that?”
Then she yawned, and I asked if she was going to make it: “I don’t know. That’s just it.” After suggesting she take a nap, we hung up.

Making lists of quotes for my files
Before I left Mom's, on some evenings (whenever they were practicing) I could hear the high school band across the street through the windows. To my surprise, I can here, too.
The windows are open and, with the fan, it's quite pleasant
Monday starts one of my least favorite weeks of the whole year (in general [think hurricane season, and you might get it. If not, I'll e happy to clarify, as this isn't one of my more vague points {used to be, but over the years I've firmed up my stance}]).
Tomorrow Grandma comes (plus, laundry and other chores to do) so won't be on, even to check this blog.

Both windows open again, though due to the sun shining the living room’s cracked (don’t want Ethan to get a draft)
Mom attended a viewing Friday night, went in to work around 11, then got up at 8 Saturday so she could visit Stephanie.
I got a call from Melissa, Susquehanna Association’s social worker, who will be picking me up for the picnic Wednesday. She wants me to be ready around 11, and will come up for me.
Ordered my groceries, and told them to deliver tomorrow as I won’t be here Wednesday.
