Part of my confusion is, in the process of developing the blogs—and skipping back and forth—the oldest two, “Jazmee’s Still Here” and “Protector’s Travels” have some of the same information. ‘But not all.’ Well, process of elimination told me it had to be “Jazmee’s Still Here.”

On November 10, reply 864, I wrote: “Tom from Crisis Intervention called to talk to me… I’m to call him to report on my mental state.” ‘His main concern was “making sure you don’t harm yourself or others.” I wasn’t at that point when I called; maybe the night before, when I was starting at the slightest noise.’In another post I wrote that “I can barely concentrate on anything except the physical… I now know why I can’t tune anything out… it’s like I’m living a dream, with no way out.” Yet another posting: “I really do want to live life to its fullest, but… the childhood terror just won’t let up!” And the post which started it all: “I think I’m living a nightmare… Mom just called to let me know she’s been contacted by her ex-husband.” ‘Just the mere mention of the name Mike Fedora makes my blood rate spike and my heart rate increase.’ There’s the quote from Mom about how she prefers to talk to him rather than just wondering where he is and what he’s doing. ‘It’s that whole “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” bit—which I definetly ascribe to, since I incorporate the adage into my stories.’ Other quotes from Mom: “I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could spit.” “He’s a pathological liar… You know what delusions of grandeur are?” ‘That was when Mom told me she had his email, and I was to think of whether I wanted to get in touch with him. “But if it becomes an emotional scene I’ll have to go to China and kill him!”’

NICE THOUGHT, THAT (there was that Thanksgiving he called and had me in tears because he said all manner of untru things about Mom. She was out at the time, but walked in just in time to yank the phone from my numb fingers. Later I told her the holiday was ruined for me because he'd called).
