One question.
If I submit my outstanding quiz will I have to wait until its online to claim the stepping up topic or can I claim it when I submit the first.
My turn around time for my last two quizzes was five and seven days after I sent it in.

Unfortunately, you have to wait for it to go online. It registers as being claimed, but not online, throughout the entire process.
I am at the same stage you are... Waiting for this quiz to go online before I can even grab my title. Even though it is in the queue, you can only have one challenge title at a time. :)

No I am not quite there.
I'll abandon the one I have. I am almost done but if the title gets taken while I work on the other I can always find another that fits or just rename it myself and send it in after the stepping up is done.

When you want to reclaim that title, let me know-- there's a little bug that occurs when you abandon a title then reclaim it but we'll find the way around it. :)

As soon as I saw the title I knew just what I wanted to do.

Boy, do you have that right!
I am doubly obsessed. I also want to make it to level 100 as well.
I tend to be "goal oriented " hnce the level goal. But the quiz writing obsession is not goal oriented in itself but because writing them is just so much fun!!!
But when you combine them with commissions it adds a goal. And there I go again. Where's the chocolate?

I am still 15 away from my 100 quiz badge. The first 50 seemed to go by very quickly but these last 30 have gone at a snails pace. I must have aged since starting all these challenges :)
Did someone mention chocolate?

I've got 20 to go and I am not counting on getting quiz authoring badges as they have too many time constraints. You can't devote a day to trying to get a badge like you can with endurace or the buzzy bee. You have to wait while a quiz is queued, than wait for enough users to rate it and then for it to be on line for a couple of weeks.
The quiz writing itself is my reward and my recreation while I try to prove to myself that I have enough of the "little grey cells" to try to compete against those way less than half my age.
Now if you were giving chocolates instead of badges things could be different.

The quiz authoring badges are big-picture things. Over the years, just writing quizzes you enjoy will get you there. Of course, those like multiple category badges take a little planning, but don't require you to do anything other than the quiz writing which is one of the most fun things you can do here. In my not-so-humble opinion.
