I found this fun to do:

On the day I was born the song You Keep Me Hangin' On - The Supremes was #1 in the USA.

The site also includes #1 songs for Canada, UK, Australia, and Germany.

What song was #1 on the day you were born?

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

In the UK the singles chart didn't start until November 1952 the year after I was born. In 1952 the number one song for the relevant day was I Believe by Frankie Laine.
