Couple of questions if I may:
1. What exactly does social studies cover? It seems to be a broad subject with history included as one of its areas. Would a history themed quiz be suitable providing it is not written for any categories that would be considered to come under the social studies umbrella?
2. If the answer to the last question above is a yes, would it be possible for me to claim this one? I know it says only one subject per author in the intro, but the challenge has been around for almost eight months now.

Wiki: ""Social science" is commonly used as an umbrella term to refer to anthropology, archaeology, criminology, economics, education, history, linguistics, communication studies, political science, international relations, sociology, human geography, and psychology, and includes elements of other fields as well, such as law, cross-cultural studies, environmental studies, and social work."

A set of the questions I wrote in my notepad during QWM would be perfect for this. I'll claim it; probably will be in very soon.

"Social science" is not the same as "social studies", though. They have different histories. "Social studies" is an invention of educational professionals as a big catch-all for all kinds of subjects that you might even say is a combination of subjects in humanities and various social sciences, including history. (I know that in Fun Trivia "social science" is subsumed under "Humanities" but that's not usually how it's done).

Okay, I see you changed "Social Studies" to "Social Sciences". That's probably a good idea. I might actually take that one, but I have to think about it with my other commitments.
Social Studies would include a lot of stuff that at FT would be under "World", too.

Our Social Sciences would also hide under World typically, as that's were we keep a lot of quizzes about Cultures and Laws.
I swear it was always 'Social Sciences'. ;)

Oh, I see superfan123 claimed it. Okay, when I wrote the other stuff it was still in bold. If you change your mind, I'll do it. Cheers.
