Subject: Great Quiz Race-Help! Stuck!

I am stuck at the stop that says "it was a dark and stormy...." I keep going back after the time of 12 hours and it keeps resetting me at 12 hours wait-is this a trick? Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else have this problem? If you did, how did you resolve it? Thanks for any help-

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

ohhelpme, I can't remember that specific step of the race.
Don't they give you some choices?
Anyhow maybe you find help on the Great Quiz Race thread.

I can't remember precisely, but as caparaca says above there were places en route where we were given a choice of 6 options to choose from, and each time the wrong option is chosen a wait of 12 hours is imposed before trying again.

I remember it very well as the same happened to me. You must guess (not choose) which city it is. Read the instructions carefully.

I just passed that stage of the race and can't understand how I was supposed to pick that city. Can someone send me a PM on how I could have figured it out. Thanks.

I seem to remember now that there was an illustration showing a snowy scene, giving a solid clue as to which cities were incorrect!

I tried everyone of the cities and then backed up and tried again. Never did know why it worked.

Whew I'm done-after you figure it out it seems simple lol-thanks all. Keep track for the last leg!!!!!! I do hope they have more of these races it was fun and frustrating!
