My motto is "Things could be better but they could always be worse." What's your motto?

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

If you don't have anything good to say, say nothing at all!

I finish every 'phone call with " Take Care!" - does that count?

Or "Who Dares, Wins"

Or "Everyone Needs A Dream".

Greatguggly Life is pain. Fight it with the ultimate painkiller...love.

Greatguggly And I like your motto, Elusivedream. Whenever I'm having a rotten day or days I try to remember how lucky I am to live where I do, where I always have the opportunity to improve my life. The vast majority of people in this world don't have that. I try to see how incredibly self-centered and I'd go so far as to say heartless it is to whine about a bad day at work or something like that when there are people REALLY suffering everywhere.

Currently (meaning that could change at any minute LOL), mine is also my "blurb":

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. ~ Mark Twain

I came across the following statement a while ago, and now use it on my profile page ....

"Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin!"

I think it conveys a significant message.
