A meter has been tacked to a wall in the Author's Lounge and no one can say for sure what it does. Perhaps if our fine authors can solve its riddles we can fill it up. Who knows?

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

I've put together a quiz with "ill" in the title and it's going to a different category to those already done. Will submit it soon and hope that it satisfies the meter.

Mmmm. They both have the word 'in' in their titles. Could I suggest someone try a music quiz titled 'Maladies in Melodies'? I will add that title to the author challenges list if anybody thinks it might work and they can pick it up there. I would do it myself but I have lost my quiz writing mojo.

P.S. I expect a question about the song 'Rocking Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu' to be included.

Maybe it's the 'opposites' - 'sickness and health'; 'cats and dogs'. Maybe something like 'Illnesses in Men and Women', which covers both my idea and Aussiedrongo's.
