Makes me wonder who was assigned, by the contractor, to paint this sign. Was it some illegal immigrant who has no clue about spelling and may be does not know how to speak English?

As I read it, your comment altogether seems rather rude. Just because someone can't spell (or at least you assume they can't spell) does not mean that they are "illegal". And you shouldn't be linking immigration and English speaking together anyway. There are plenty of immigrants, legal or otherwise, who speak and spell English very well, and there are plenty of citizens who can't speak or spell English well at all.

Talking of which! Have you ever written down a word then thought, that's not the correct spelling? Then you change it, only to find that it still doesn't look right? Frustrates the life out of me. lol

I have enough trouble saying some words, Anesthetic being one of them, Anesthetist another. I had to look for the correct spelling for both too. lol
