There's a title open in Commission XXIII if you want to try. But we here at the Lounge always appreciate new authors and opinions!

I can't decide which of mine I like best. I'm not 100% thrilled with any of them, I don't think, as I look back on them.
There are SO many good quizzes written by others on this stie, many of them on this Lounge. I don't know how I'd be able to pick a "fave".
Please, oh please, keep me away from video games, celebrities and religion. I wrote one little religion quiz and thank heavens for a wonderful editor who kept me from getting any "death threats".

habits ... i don't think you need to pick a "fave" by another author. The request was simply a quiz by another author that you think is "solid"
Anna ... the new avatar is brilliant ... I have a pain in my side from laughing so much.

Or a series of quizzes; or a set of quizzes by different authors which fit well together.

I've already posted but Kyle's comment triggered another series for me - Anna's occupational trivia series. Very unique jobs chosen (coal miner, pearl diver, chimney sweep etc) and the quizzes are informative and enjoyable.

I haven't been on the site for a bit so I've just caught up with this post.
Thanks Rossian! You made me blush. Where do I send the chocolate?
My favourite own quiz- well, that would have to be "Christmas Day: The Aussie Way". It's not ranked very highly, but I so much fun writing it.
My favourite by another author is possibly eburge's maths puns. Very clever and it's stuck in my mind despite not playing it for some time.
Worst category for me to write in? I'd have to say Religion, although VG and History aren't too far behind. Strange that- I have a history quiz and a VG quiz both ranked in the top 1000. History also has a thumb- go figure.

Here's another excellent quiz online today. "British Literature: The Renaissance--16th Century" by alaspooryoric.
I've also recommended it in the ditor's Choice section as well.

What I need from our authors are your favourite categories to write in-- not because they're the easiest, but because you learn more from them.

music and science
even though I find music an easy category to write in, I'm staggered by how much I still learn from the category

Favourite categories: music, literature, geography and, of course, video games. I'm writing a Sci/Tech quiz right now, and I'm finding that interesting, so possibly that as well. I would write more Sports quizzes, but just haven't had the inspiration to do so yet.

Just to keep everyone in the know-- the challenge that's being prepared will be fairly large in scope. If you really want to branch out with quizzes, this will give you a big opportunity. There are going to be great rewards (beyond just the quizzes) and you only need to do what you feel is necessary.
Everything else here in the Lounge will still run as normal (and some of it may lend itself very nicely). Consider this a big step for authors trying to learn and authors who are mainstays looking for something epic. ;)
