I usually feel very lost on these threads. But I will wait and see if I understand what comes along here.

I'm going to be closing this thread very soon and creating a new one to usher in the arrival of the game (IT STARTS NEXT WEEK YAY!).
If anyone has any questions about the game, feel free to ask! :)

It'll be big-time. Kyle has created something here that will benefit authors, especially those who are aiming to hone and increase their skills, very much.

Just a thought ... what are the chances (and is it worthwhile) to have a link to "Adventures in Authoring - Discussion Page" on the home page? Even if its for the first month.
A lot of people may not choose to enter the author's lounge and I dare say there'd be quite a few that won't hear of this initiative. A link that simply says "Adventures in Authoring" on the front page may encourage people to click on it purely for curiosity. What may come out of that is anybody's guess

I've just read through the last couple of weeks of posts and am totally confused - but excited at the same time. Hopefully I can get my quiz writing mojo back!

I suspect that if this doesn't do it, nothing will. Especially if one of the hoped-for enticements eventuates.

Even beside that, hopefully it does bring some back to regular authoring. I have a feeling that with the Sprint taking up so much energy and then everyone heading off for good weather and otherwise, we're in a lull (which is to be expected...there's been a lot going on). As the north half of the globe moves into winter we'll see a lot of returning authors.
Hopefully AA picks things up. The people who play through it are in for a real treat. ;)

I keep thinking Alcoholics Anonymous, must be a hangover from the Sprint and the Race which almost drove me there.

I consider it to be Authors Anonymous, a service to all of us addicts.
