If you are directed here by a FunTrivia challenge, please reply ONLY in this thread for the challenge. Only posts made here will count towards your challenge!

[ And no, you will be DIRECTED to come here. Posting here without having an already issued challenge will not result in anything! Still, you can post a story if you feel like it anyway ;) ]

If sent here, the title says it all. Your challenge is to share a story.

Tell us, briefly, about something funny or interesting that has happened to you recently. Or something sad. Or something scary. Or something exciting. Something funny or strange you saw?

If nothing funny or interesting or scary or exciting has happened, then write us a poem. Or a song. Or tell us a joke.

Or just tell us what you did today. Did all you accomplish was to brush your teeth? Did you fail to even do that? Do share...

Feeling grumpy today? Tell us what irritates you. What TV show can't you stand? What TV show are you watching that you like?

So go ahead, we're listening. The only rules are that you be polite and follow our very simple rules up above.

Tell us a story...

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Sure enough Mr Boogiemonster cat has decided to figure out getting the cabinet door open where the new toys are hidden they have been scattered by the other 7 and the catnip is strewn about like a marijuana party. AHHH LIFE WITH FELINES!! merry christmas to all, anyone want to adopt?

Chanukah was a couple of weeks ago, so now I can relax and watch my Christian friends race around.

One of my and my wife's Christmas traditions is to attend the candlelight service on Christmas eve and then, since we don't have any kids at home, we stay after the service to clean up, change the paraments, and set the altar/chancel for the Christmas morning service. It feels good to work together late.

Continued te family tradition of spending Christams eve with my wife and my three daughters from a previous marriage. Had my four grandchidren and two godchildren with us. Had a great evening watching the kids run around outside palying manhunt after eating our tradtional Lasagna dinner. Merry Christmas!

books407 Today is Christmas. My ex-daughter-in-law had formerly invited me to watch my grandchildren open presents. Guess she forgot. I'm going to my sister's house for finger foods in a few.

I'm just enjoying a quiet day at home with the cats. It's gray and rainy out, so I guess it's a perfect day to stay in and finally take the time to go after the 10 daily challenges badgelet. This is my 10th challenge, as it happens, so I guess that's something to write about.

poodle78 I was sitting on the couch by the Christmas Tree (a 6 footer) when suddenly the whole tree shook. I got up and looked around. Then about halfway up, I thought I saw something. So I pushed back the branches and found myself looking at a little cat face. It was our Manx, Conner.

Thought it was sad that there were so many people playing Funtrivia on Christmas Day. Then I thought I spent the day with my family and I still clocked up 6000 points....
Then I thought not all FT players would celebrate Christmas...

THOROUGHLY enjoyed a day doing almost nothing at all - read a book of choice, rather than reading for work, watched some of the Boxing Day test (and I'm off to the 'G for Day 2 tomorrow) and played a new XBox game with #1 son, followed by finishing off leftovers from yesterday for dinner. And I don't even feel particularly guilty for 'lack of progress'. A good day indeed.

Made my first trifle a couple of weeks ag--it's something my nan used to make a lot, so I thought it was time my generation picked up the mantle. The trial run was a great success, so guess what the dessert was this Christmas lunch?

KcirdnekC Yesterday, was a wonderful day.It was Christmas. As the years have gone by, and I get older and older, I understand the meaning more and more. A few thoughtful gifts, are better than a dozen toys. To me, the true meaning of Christmas is family, friends, and helping those less fortunate than us. I donated several gifts to children whose parents were unable to buy them multiple gifts. It makes me happy to know that I am able to spread happiness and joy to others through my kindness. I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and always remember the meaning is not just about gifts. It is much, much, deeper than that. Happy Holidays to all!

wellenbrecher First time I had a picnic on Christmas. 19 degrees outside on December 25th in Germany - very nice but somewhat eerie at the same time. But we enjoyed it anyway.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

For the first time in many years, I'll be going to a football (soccer) match this Boxing Day. My team (Bristol City) are playing Watford and need to win. The buses don't run here on Boxing Day so I'll have to walk to the ground and hope it doesn't rain too heavily!

deputygary What do you call a mantle made by a North Pole resident who originally came from Greater Manchester, England?

A Delph elf shelf.

C30 Martin.............when I was a kid, many moons ago, and in a galaxy far away, when the team I follow (Colchester United) sometimes won a game (unlike current), quite often you could watch 3 games on Boxing Day for one admission price.

The 'A' Team played first in Essex & Suffolk Border League Game, KO 0900. Then KO 1130 the Reserves had an Eastern Counties League game, and finally First Team played a Division 3 (South) game at 1500.

Ahh.........good old days! Lol

Got to spend last week with the most awesome person in the whole world. We had such a nice time together, playing cutthroat Trivial Pursuit, visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and just enjoying each other's company. I think it was the most wonderful week I've ever had.

bramblerose17 Christmas Day was wonderful this year - just us daughter and her husband. First time there has been no overlying tragedy in our family!!!! No one seriously ill and no sudden deaths. Our daughter is 6months pregnant with her first child and all is wonderful at last.
