I am as of this moment tickled pink! While looking for this forum I stumbled across the Early Bird challenge, took it, and won it! Oh, yeah!

I bought a challenge hoping for an epic, but instead I got this. It's my third time getting this challenge.

I got one of those new Apple earphones that supposedly fit better in your ears because they're shaped like the earholes. But they fall out much more quickly for me. Oops..

I took the on-line Jeopardy contestant quiz. You had 15 seconds to read each of 50 questions and type in your answer. The second question was about a work by Spinoza. It got kinda hard after that.

I'm going to Barcelona with twenty other lads for a stag weekend in February. This could turn out messy...

I need to learn how to read. 2 days ago the daily challenges difficult level was the "twin" challenge. You had to match or exceed your twin by 500,5000, or 10,000 points at any time during the day. All the while I had been thinking it was your final scores of the day that had to meet this criteria.

It's been a wonderful experience, and there have been lots of snow.
A beautifu scenery, for sure :-)

If we're lionizing great NFL players with 16+ yrs. playing experience who've made a difference in their communities and who deserve a ring -- I'll take Tony Gonzalez over Ray Lewis all day, every day.

My last "Share a Story" thread mentioned how happy I was to find a take-out place that had shrimp toast. What they have is an excuse for why they don't have any whenever I try to order it. :(

I have been listening to "A Change Is Gonna Come" by various artists over the last few days. My favorite is Sam Cooke's version, but I've also been enjoying Lauryn Hill's version, R Kelly, Luther Vandross and Seal. I encourage anyone reading this to go to you-tube and check it out - I think you'll really like it!

Here's a funny joke I heard yesterday:
A woman drives down the road with twenty penguins in the back seat. A policeman stops her and says that she can't drive around with the penguins in the car and should take them to the zoo. The woman agrees and drives off.
The next day the same woman is driving down the road with twenty penguins in the back seat. She is stopped by the same police officer who says, "Hey! I thought I told you to take those penguins to the zoo."
The woman replies, "I did. Today I'm taking them to the movies."
:D

Quite a bit of snow around (at least for here) since Friday morning. The dogs love it. More is due on Sunday.

My dogs are sulking today. We were due to take them to Tescos for a spot of tin rattling for the Retired Greyhound Trust - they absolutely adore meeting the public! It's been called off because of the snow though.

A cornflake had had enough of sitting uncomfortably in the box with a zillion other cornflakes. So, he decided to get out and seek his fortune. He climbed out of the box pushed open the cupboard door and hopped down to the floor. Just then there was a noise at the door as Tiddles appeared through the catflap. The cat walked up to the cornflake, opened her mouth and............. I will tell you the rest next time. It's a cereal.
