Here I am, back to tell another story. I am going to have to charge for the novel pretty soon. Today's story is about an Easter bunny. I went this morning to pick up my grandchildren's four month old rabbit who is mostly black with white areas. His name is Paws. He spent the weekend with a photographer where he did a calendar shoot with several babes and toddlers plus three yellow ducklings. He was very glad to be back in his own house atop the old tredle sewing machine.

Yesterday I had a leisure St Patrick's day. The corn beef, cabbage, red potatoes and carrots were cooked in a slow cooker all and and turned out fabulously. Drove to the VFW after supper and put back a couple of Irish brews (Ohara's Celtic Stout). All in all it was a great day.

Today is a national holiday here in Spain. It is San Jose or Fathers Day. Much more important here than Mothers Day.

My son and I went to Plymouth, MA, for a basketball tournament and had some fun in the pool. Adults only in the hot tub, but the kids gathered around, so I decided to put on a demonstration of holding my breath underwater.
After telling everyone what I planned to do and asking an adult of the many sitting poolside to time me, I began. One minute, two minutes, then I felt someone tapping my head. I wasn't done, so I pushed the hand away, thinking it was my son.
Somce lady who had just walked up and didn't know what the situation was decided that the kids were freaking out and was determined that I come up. My friend told me later that I (accidently) splashed her really good (to which I rejoined that the officious busybody deserved it!).
Anyway, with the interference, I surfaced in two minutes, 15 seconds - I could have gone three minutes - I jog on a regular basis. Afterwards, I told the kids that being able to hold your breath can be a useful skill to develop and a life-saver: keeping smoke and gas out of your lungs and swimming underwateer being three benefits.

I tried out for Jeopardy, because I have this knack.
I must have missed a guess or two. They never called me back

I an of the Jewish faith and have ascended to the presidency of my temple. There are good events and bad events that you are required to attend as a president, but lately it's been all bad. We've had 2 longtime Temple members and two parents of members pass away in the last two weeks. I am sure getting tired of funerals and memorial services. Where's the good stuff?

Well, here's my Easter Bunny story.
Once, long ago when my beloved Nerdlet was small, she desperately wanted a GameBoy for her birthday. But they were out of my price range. She didn't complain, even though several friends had them.
Then, out of the blue, I got the chance to earn £150 at a weekend.
So I dressed up in a giant pink rabbit suite and handed out Easter eggs as part of a promotion. Two days as Harvey's girlfriend. Hot and stuffy and worth it.
Nerdlet got her Gameboy. :)

Today I got a gift. It was unexpected and very pleasant. Nothing expensive but it made my day. Let's be kind and attentive to each other.

Yesterday, I was merrily working away on my Difficult Challenge which was to score a certain number of questions correct on player-created quizzes. No problem, just a matter of time. Was over halfway there and doing fine when the electricity went off!
I'm in Alabama. Our state, Mississippi and Georgia suffered a lot of high-winds yesterday and a couple of tornadoes have now been confirmed. So far I have not heard of any deaths yet, so we can be thankful for that

Today I got a letter from a relative who is in his eighties and his wife recently died, and he has naturally been finding life very sad & lonely after a long and happy marriage. He has started dating again! A younger woman - she's a mere 80.
