One day I woke up in the morning I saw a watch like thing infront of me and when I go near of it, it flows to my hand and told me that it was an Ultimatrix that could change into aliens. I thought to became a superhero and save the world and I became Ultimanant. I am still saving the world from evil monsters. Thank You.

Every weekend when we take the boat out, we see flamingos in the wetlands, small deer on an island that we pass, and lots of seabirds. Last weekend we had dolphins swimming nearby, and every now and then throughout the day schools of fish thrashed about on the surface of the water, probably because they were being attacked. A weekly dose of nature is food for the soul.

Had a great day, yesterday. My daughter has been having problems with my 11 month old granddaughter. Due to an ear infection, my little Cricket hasn't been sleeping at night or taking any naps so, needless to say, she's been a bit cranky. Yesterday, My daughter needed me to babysit for a few hours and I said I would do it. My daughter gave me all the warnings about Cricket's little attitude and left. Well Grampa that I am, I grabbed one of my guitars, plugged it in and let that budding little headbanger go at it for a good 10-15 minutes. After her little jam session, all she wanted was to lay down with Gramps on the couch and, just like Grampa, have a drink and nod off. True to her word, my daughter showed up after only 3 hours and walked in on a soundly sleeping child and a very pleased dad. She was so impressed, she went right back out the door and returned with supper and a 6-pack. My methods may not win me neighbor of the year but I sure did win dad of the day.

On St. Patrick's day (a few days back), I received my Old Timers Badge for hanging around here for five years. Good Grief! Where does the time go? Aside from the hours of fun, and learning new things, the greatest enhancement to my life has been making a dear friend on my team that I hold in high esteem. That trumps all! Thanks Terry, and all the editors and administrators for the tireless work you do. Many of us appreciate your efforts more than you can know.

In the UK, it's Budget Day so our Chancellor will be announcing the next round of spending cuts. I doubt that his plans will work, none of the ones he's made in the last 3 years have improved the economy - just made it worse for the majority. 2 more years and we can vote them out.

THE MISUSED APOSTROPHE
At some point in the American educational system, students seem to learn an incorrect use of an apostrophe and resort to it to create plurals. For example, to indicate where Mr. and Mrs. Smith live, the sign outside their home should read: "The Smiths." Instead, many signs will say "The Smith's." A similar mistake is to think that the possessive form of "it" is "it's." "It's" is the contraction for "it is." The possessive of "it" is "its," again without the apostrophe.

What a difference one year can make with the weather here in northwest Pennsylvania, where I live! Last year, I endured the most upredictably pleasant stretch of early spring weather, with two straight weeks in March of 70 degree plus temperatures! Great for me too because the St. Patrick's Day holiday fell in that stretch! I never could've imagined being in t-shirt and shorts so early in the season! Now, back to reality this March, with temperatures around freezing, and I have to go around bundled up in heavy wool coat, hat, and gloves. I love the unpredictability of the weather, it really keeps me on my toes :)

I learned a saying (a long time ago)
'Possessive its, never splits'
It has always helped me remember.

One of my Daily Challenges today was to submit a question for the pool. I am always glad to contribute but I can not imagine there is a shortage because I submitted another question over a week ago that has not been checked yet. Oh, well, should be plenty of new questions now.

When it is already the middle of my vacation week from school. I haven't gotten much done but it has been nice to relax and catch up on my leisure reading.

Hello, I found this site during my first period. I was looking for a trivia site that would poke my interest and this site caught all of my attention. This site has categories in numerous topics and I love sites like this.

Two elderly, well sixtysomething, grandparents are very excited. We're off to Disneyland Paris tomorrow with our two grandsons aged six and four. Although we, the oldies that is, have been to Orlando on numerous occasions, this is our first trip to Paris. I think we're more excited than the boys

Having a great time shopping with my daughters. Getting married next month and this is a completely different stage in my life. Married for many years and due to death of hubby I was alone. Met a gentleman at grief share last fall and now
we have decided to spend the rest of our lives together. God is so good to give me a double blessing I am truly thankful.
Appreciate all of my FT friends and the remarks you all have sent me.

In 9 days I will be shaving my head being a female I'm a little nervous about how it'll look. I am doing it for a 2 year old at my church who has cancer. This is my way of showing support for her and her mother (who also shaved her head for her daughter).

As a hair stylist, I have done this a number of time for people for the same reason. Don't be nervous, be proud. This is a supreme and selfless show of support. And another thing, self worth comes from inside not out.
