Topic: What Book Am I?

Subject: What Book Am I?
Date: Sep 02 12

This works like the movie and people threads. You ask yes/no questions, and the person who correctly guesses the book gets to pick the next one.

Books can be either fiction or non-fiction, must be classified as a novel or novella. This means no plays, poems, or short stories.

I will begin with:

What book am I?

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

would I be correct to assume it's the Kennedy's?

Did you mean to say "fiction", rather than "non-fiction"?

Yes, the Kennedys.

It's fiction.

Thank you, Jakeroo! I was fading fast.

I can thoroughly recommend "The Importance of Being Kennedy" and "Gone with the Windsors".

What book you?

Jakeroo I'll recommend this book as well. Fantasy novel.

It can't be as easy as "Gulliver's Travels", can it?

I'm going with The Hobbit.

(Of no interest to anyone but me, this was the first book my husband bought me.)

Toby, I bet you're right. It was a well done film, don't you think? Extra- cool creatures!

Jakeroo The Hobbit is quite correct. TobyOne does it again : )

I haven't seen The Hobbit yet. It's school holidays here so I'm waiting until there's less chance of running commentary and screeching.

Next up is a suspense novel. Male author.

Written pre 2000?

Thanks, Upstart.

Written 1980s. A "cross-genre" novel, before the author's output became pot-boilers.
