Subject: What Book Am I?
Date: Sep 02 12

This works like the movie and people threads. You ask yes/no questions, and the person who correctly guesses the book gets to pick the next one.

Books can be either fiction or non-fiction, must be classified as a novel or novella. This means no plays, poems, or short stories.

I will begin with:

What book am I?

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

The book was first published in the early part of this century and the Author is still alive and kicking, as far as I am aware. It is by no means his first book as he is quite a prolific author.

Sorry neither of those and as I do not know their authors I cannot say if by the same author.

M-Kat-the author is Ian McEwan

Thanks for that Paul and no he is not the author. To re-cap this author is English, famous in more ways than one and has been a prolific writer of many novels some of which have been best sellers. This particular book I thought was one of the best but that is just a personal opinion.

"Day of the Jackal"?

Sorry, neither of those. According to the information in the preface of my copy of this book it was first published in 2002 which makes it later than those.

Further clue: According to the book cover it is "His new bestseller" I don't know if that is fact or advertising fiction. But based on that it should be well known.
