Topic: What Book Am I?

Subject: What Book Am I?
Date: Sep 02 12

This works like the movie and people threads. You ask yes/no questions, and the person who correctly guesses the book gets to pick the next one.

Books can be either fiction or non-fiction, must be classified as a novel or novella. This means no plays, poems, or short stories.

I will begin with:

What book am I?

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

How far into the 20th Century do you consider "the Turn"?

kaddarsgirl

I'm set after the turn of the Century, unless your definition is broad.

adams627 Are you considered "classic"? (Or, to slightly objectify, would you be surprised if a high school teacher assigned this book in class and studied it for literary merit?)

kaddarsgirl

I am a Classic. Most high school students, I would bet, have read me.

(I have actually read this particular book several times, the first time in 9th grade.)
