Subject: What Book Am I?

This works like the movie and people threads. You ask yes/no questions, and the person who correctly guesses the book gets to pick the next one.

Books can be either fiction or non-fiction, must be classified as a novel or novella. This means no plays, poems, or short stories.

I will begin with:

What book am I?

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Written more recently than that book, and set in a more turbulent time in the south.

Hmmm, is it "The Worst Hard Time", that one about the Dust Bowl?

Does it deal with the Dust Bowl at all?

jabb5076

No, more the deep south, rather than places like Oklahoma or Texas.

Let's try "The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963"?

Nope. You guys need to ask some Q's to narrow it down.

It's not the central focus of the book, but yes, it does.

None of the above. A somewhat cryptic hint: it was on the NYT bestseller list for 2 and a half years.
