Topic: What Book Am I?

This works like the movie and people threads. You ask yes/no questions, and the person who correctly guesses the book gets to pick the next one.

Books can be either fiction or non-fiction, must be classified as a novel or novella. This means no plays, poems, or short stories.

I will begin with:

What book am I?

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

It was the pen name that did it for me. Let's see.......new direction this time. This is a YA series; just give me the overall series name, instead of any of the individual books in the series.

Is it Harry Potter?

Is this series still being written? By the original author?

Not Harry Potter, and the series is complete, but the author is currently writing a new series.

And just in case someone might not be familiar with the terminology, YA means young adult.

Or is that Children's literature? I never actually read it...

I haven't read them either, but keep meaning to because of all the questions from the books that keep showing up on quizzes. This series is probably geared more to 13-above.

Hint-author is not American.

Read the series of unfortunate events. They're great. For all ages. Wonderful books. :-)

Chronicles of Narnia, perhaps?

Missed the part that said currently writing anew series. Never mind About CS Lewis. :-P

No-10 books in the series (not counting an extra with stories.)
