My title comes from the fact that the main location is run by an Irish bartender (who is not really a bartender lol).
As a further hint to my author's identity, he had the honour of being asked to write most of an unfinished "lost" work started by none other than Robert Heinlein.

Whew!!!
I was beginning to think I'd have to mention something about arachnids lol. Honestly though, I highly recommend all of Spider Robinson's books (unfortunately, some of them are out of print now, but you can find them in used book places sometimes and perhaps some libraries). He has quite the "cult" following even today (mostly for the Callahan books). Not that many folks will get the reference, but he signed one of my books "From Jake to Jake - who knows that shared pain is diminished, shared joy is increased"
His wife (now dead) was a dancer/dance instructor as well as an author and was actually short-listed for spot on a NASA shuttle to study/film dance in space/zero gravity. Unfortunately the Challenger disaster changed all that and now, of course, it's a moot point.
Anyway (now that you're all completely bored lol) - Upstart? Your turn : )

I see we have some similar tastes Upstart. I'll go down the same track; first book in a crime series, not written in English but has been translated.
