Subject: Team Quiz Editing

Is anyone else experiencing difficulties editing their team quizzes?

I 'Check Out' and then 'Edit' as normal but then the system won't save my edit. It's a bit irritating to say the least!



Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Just tested. It works fine for me.

It's still refusing to accept any editing. This is what appears after "clicking to save quiz":

The website declined to show this webpage
HTTP 403
Most likely causes:
•This website requires you to log in.
What you can try:
Go back to the previous page.

Any ideas? Other team members have also reported a problem on our team message board.

Who is hosting the quiz?

If someone had left the team or deleted the quiz, perhaps it still shows up but no one can edit it?

The project is being managed by Lil_Miss_Fickle who is, as far as I am aware, still a team member. It's most confusing...

I don't know. Perhaps, if no one responds to this in the next day or two, you could bring it up in the quiz authoring forums. An administrator will see it there.

How long after you check out the quiz are you saving your progress?

Hi Kyle... The first time, when it came to my notice, I had been in edit mode for around twenty five minutes or so. Since then I have tried to edit 4 or 5 times, varying timescales from a few minutes to a few seconds - it's still not saving the edit.

Unusual to say the least!

What are the changes you're trying to make; where in the quiz are you adding things?

The team leader contacted me about this, and reported that they were getting the same "You are not allowed to edit/save quiz on this server" message I got yesterday when trying to send a quiz back to the author for more work, so it seems to be a larger issue than just this team quiz. I have reported it, and am waiting to see what happens.
