How friendly will these challenges be for those using mobiles and tablets? From my own experience I know there are certain things that can't be accessed with iPhone such as International Hourly and Crosswords and the Mind Melt format is murder with continuous scrolling up an down.

Some require speed, others knowledge, others endurance. They cover all parts of the site, for daily and hourly and team games, to crosswords, and regular quizzes, in all modes. What you can accomplish on a cell or a tablet depends on the challenge you get, really. Some will be more accessible than others.

I was able to "test" it for a brief time window today, by getting to the testing page from the new challenges in the list. Now the testing page has been replaced with a page saying that the challenges will come Monday. So two more days!

I'm looking forward to the new game. I might not do well, but it could be great fun for all of us cheering and supporting each other, like when the Great Quiz Race started.

My difficult challenge says I need to place in the top 3 of a Global Challenge category. Is that for one's division, or over the entire site? (This may be better to clarify in the text).

I can't complete my difficult challenge unless there's a specific scavenger hunt about to appear before I go to bed in an hour. Ah well, that's the luck of the draw I suppose.

You mean the Buzzy Bee? That's the only one I know of that's a Scavenger Hunt. By the way, there's no need to be cryptic about the regular challenges. It's the Epics you have to worry about, and no one can even see those yet :)

That's the difficult challenge I got, and I spent a lot of time deciding whether I should use my "switch a challenge" option or wait until later in the week. I eventually decided to use it and got another challenge I'm more likely to complete.

I had the Buzzy Bee challenge sometime during testing and chose not to attempt it. I already had the badge so I didn't see the point. The "swap-a-challenge" can be a life-saver!

I have a medium and difficult challenge that both say to use the quiz mode to earn a certain amount of points in different categories. I was wondering if I need to score the exact number in each of them (because they are both specific numbers, such as 3,291) or if that is the minimun amount of points I need in each category.

That's the minimum amount you need to score. Anything over that point total should give you a checkmark.

I've got Crystal Ball today and a Difficult challenge...perfect time to use my swap if I can't get it by tonight...I'm so bad at guessing words :(

I found out I can't play the challenges where you use the Quiz Mode because they require Flash. No big deal, though, I can still play the easy one. Plus the combined points for both of them would be way more than I'd be willing to earn. But there's always tomorrow.
