A number of authors have expressed a lack of spark with quiz-writing over the past little while, so I'd like to try something. For this challenge, we only need to have seven quizzes; one a day for a week. Starting today, I'll post a subcategory on the site and one person needs to submit a quiz in it during that day. If one is not submitted, the challenge will end. If one ends up queued, however, we can all move on to the next one on the following day and so on until next Friday.

If you submit a quiz on day 1 and it goes online first, you may not submit for any of the proceeding days. If yours is not the first online, you may try to be first again the next day until you are the first to count. We should have seven quizzes, one per day, each from a different author.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

I'd be interesting to see this as an automated game, but for now we have this. :)

And yes, writing should be the carrot, but it shouldn't disappear as soon as you're done with it. ;)

Somehow I am unable to change the quiz to any other subcategory-- for example if I put a quiz in in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver subcategory, I can put it in the Pokémon subcategory, the Video Games L-P subcategory, and any of the root categories, but nothing else. Dunno why.

Business World includes Marketing, which is where all the quizzes on commercials are stored. Somebody must have fond memories of advertisements of yore, or even one particular series of ads. Burma Shave.
