We don't have squirrels here but I have tried kangaroo, emu and crocodile meats. Oh and rabbit too, that was a basic food for early settlers.

I learned on the Chat Board that people actually eat kangaroo, I had no idea! Crocodile either! Never been to Australia.

Bison, squirrel, pheasant, elk, in freezer right now. And have tried alligator, ostrich both very good.

You can eat pretty much the whole squirrel. Not only are the brains delicious, the giblets (heart, liver, kidneys) were added to boiled dumplings. Mmmm, Mmmm, good!

Ive had quail, pheasant, wild boar, elk, moose, hippo, dove, alligator and countless hotdogs ( we really dont know whats in those!). Oh yeah I had kangaroo jerky and ostrich jerky a few times.

Brains -- eewww! I remember my dad telling me that when he was a kid, they used to eat calf brains and scrambled eggs for breakfast (they lived on a dairy farm). I guess back then people had to utilize every bit of food they had, but I can't imagine why people would want to eat innards today.
