Can anyone help solve the problem I am having with getting through the Quiz creation stages?
I can create a quiz by going to the category and clicking 'Create a Quiz' from there. However, if I go to Create a Quiz from my profile or the home page, I then click the 'Select a Category' button and it sends me to the top level of the Animals category with no options available from there.
I have a brand new computer running Windows 7 and a new version of IE. It worked ok for a few days but now this has happened.
Any ideas?
BTW, having just started on Stage 3 of A-I-A I saw something about an option to choose Photo Quiz at the 'Quiz Creation Page' but I don't seem to get to that page at all.
Thanks
Marc

This is a browser probolem associated with the latest version if Internet Explorer. If you look in the Authoring section of the Feedback Forums, you will fins suggestions as to how to work around it. My personal preference is to use Firefox (which you can download and use for free) instead of IT for visiting FunTrivia. There appear to be a few other incompatibilities, as well.
When you are setting up your template, you should now see an option to select photo quiz as you go. I have never had any problems with this, but I use Firefox, so am not sure what the workaround for those using IE might be.

Any browser other than IE10 will do. If you're planning on doing an Author's Challenge, you definitely need to change browsers - otherwise you can't pick up the challenge title because of this browser issue.

Is this really the only solution? I had Firefox on a previous machine and found it really annoying to have to keep switching from one to the other.
Can I get the link working by just emptying histories or something like that?

IE10 simply doesn't work right, and won't until/unless Terry can work out what they have changed i it, and adjust the site to make it work smoothly without disrupting all the other browsers that still work.
I would just change to Firefox permanently, myself. that is what I do at home. At work, I open two tabs, and use IE (the default work connection, which I need to use for at least one application that only likes IE) for one, and Firefox on the other. I say Firefox because it is free and causes absolutely no problems here. I can't vouch for any other browser.

I can vouch for Google Chrome. :D I use it the most, although I occasionally use Firefox and IE.

You can always get an older version of IE. I still use IE 8 and have no problems with the site.
