My current AA quiz is still in the queue. Five days, now, I think? Not sure, and I don't want to go to the quiz to check, either. :P
But, of course, the category has been bombarded as of late. I "patiently" await. ;)
Then I can catch up and pass Rossian. :P

It's been over a month now. I've been waiting for so long. I know there is a lot of quizzes to mark but over a month while others are getting theirs marked in days?

I am not even thinking of this as any kind of race, especially as my time is extremely limited right now. The adventure will be here for years, and I know I will eventually have time to focus on my next step. I suspect there are a lot of them, and those who are trying to race will feel as exhausted as they were at the end of producing The Amazing Race, or participating in the Sprint.
Jeffcotton, once you get past the first quiz and aren't restricted to an overworked category, you will probably find things proceeding more quickly for you. I can't see or edit your quiz, but I can see that it was last changed by you on November 25. It's important to remember that opening your quiz and saving it sends it back to the end of the queue, so yours has been waiting for just over a week, which is not surprising in that category at this time.

I agree, L_T. I'm taking AinA at my own pace, too. The Race and Sprint were just too exhausting towards the end. Besides, there's a lot of real life stuff happening at the moment. :)

Sorry, jeffcotton, I can't see anything more than the listing that it was last modified on the date I stated. Only an editor in that category could see more information as to exactly what happened on that date. Anyway, there is nothing to do except be patient. There are lots of reasons why one quiz sits longer than others, such as one editor starting to work on it, then not being able to finish the editing for a while. Other editors will leave it for the forst one to complete. It's unlikely to be relevant in General Knowledge, but possible, that your quiz is in a subcategory which only one particular editor handles, and it must wait until they are available, while quizzes in other subcategories can go online more quickly because more editors are available.

I'm with you LT and zorba ... taking it slow and steady with this lot. It's been good to sit back and think a quiz through for a change rather than breaking a neck to get it over the line. Just submitted number two this evening.

I didn't, and still don't, consider it a race, but it did fit nicely with November's challenge to write as many quizzes as possible. I expect to slow down now, although seeing the next challenge, as each quiz is put on line, does tend to trigger ideas. Once I have the idea, I find it hard not to convert it to a quiz!
